Our hockey programs are for players and goalies of all ages from Novice to Pro, where we provide expert instruction in core Puck Handling skills, Small area skills, agility, and reaction skills that are needed to have optimal success. The majority of young goaltenders donβt get nearly enough goaltending specific skating during their team practices. Practicing the movements properly and sometimes without pucks help the goaltenders train through repetition and develop muscle memory in order to improve upon their current abilities and create strength, confidence and consistency in their play. View ProfileMel Lastman Square is a public square at North York Civic Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is named for then North York mayor Mel Lastman. It was officially opened on June 16, 1989 by Norman Jewison and Mel Lastman's granddaughter Brie Lastman. The architects were J. Michael Kirkland. Mel Lastman Square is a beautiful park featuring 20,000 square feet of open space, a garden court, an outdoor amphitheatre, fountains and a reflecting pool. Special events that showcase music, art, dancing, theatre, food, and sports are planned by our city's various cultural groups for every season. The Square has various levels and areas that are suitable for an assortment of activities, such as cultural festivals, concerts, fund raisers, awareness campaigns, children's activities, art displays and more. Inside the facility, there is a leisure skate change room, men's and women's change rooms and men's and women's washrooms. [read more]
