The largest megacity in Canada, Toronto has become one of the most popular trip destinations.
As a Torontonian, I am always interested in cool places near me. Here are great places to visit while you are exploring our great city.

1. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada 



Aquatic dreams were realized while visiting Toronto.
Ripley’s Aquarium is one of the most popular places to visit while in Toronto as there is a reason why.
 Those who love seeing the beauty of our underwater world will get a treat while watching a wide variety of fish and other water-loving species that is a perfect place for all ages. 

Ripley’s Aquarium opened in 2013, with hundreds of different species for you to see. 

Ripley’s Aquarium is one of the places to go for some fun when you visit Toronto, especially if you are with the family. 
The Aquarium is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. 

 Tickets are $39 for adults, $26 for youths (age 6 to 13), $13 for children (3-5) and $26 for seniors.

2. Royal Ontario Museum

The CN Tower is well known as the symbol of Toronto.

The CN Tower opened in 1976 and was the tallest free-standing structure in the world for 32 years.

 5. Toronto Botanical Garden 



You don’t have to be a florist or a botanist to enjoy the beauty of this place. 

Toronto Botanical Garden has been open for over 60 years and is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Toronto, Canada. 
 You can see a variety of unique flowers and beautiful plants in their 17 different gardens as you will see a lot of vegetation. 
 You will be able to see fruit trees, perennials, and more. 
 Kids can also enjoy Toronto Botanical Garden with the teaching garden.
Toronto Botanical Garden is a place to visit if looking for fun and peace of mind is what you seek. 
 It is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 6. Casa Loma 



Casa Loma first opened in 1914 and has been a museum since 1937.
 Castles are very cool places you can visit. Even better, you can see a real castle right here in Toronto. 
Casa Loma has a rich history with plenty of things to see. Casa Loma has some of the most beautiful gardens and stables. There are also some spooky rumors that the Castle is haunted and is an exciting place to visit around Halloween. 
When visiting Casa Loma you will feel like you have traveled back in time.
