Bathtub King Refinishing Ltd., began its operation in 1976 in a very modest way. Before the company was formed, George Tanner, with his brothers Fred and Gord did over a year of research into the bath and tile re-glazing and refinishing market.
The potential for growth and acceptance, of such a business, was excellent. What was lacking in the marketplace, they found, was professionalism of service and a system of glaze application that would provide customers with a long term guarantee (4 years) And both have been achieved.
Today, Bathtub King is Canada's No.1 reglazing company with headquarters in Toronto providing reglazing and refinishing services to some of Canada's largest hotel and motel chains, such as: Inn on the Park, Ramada Inn, Constellation Hotel, Holiday Inn, Community Motels and others. Hospitals have been done as well: Queensway and St. Joseph's along with government contracts for , Ontario Housing Corporation, (all) university of Toronto dormitories, prisons, etc., Also thousands of private homes and apartments
