Nestled in the hamlet of Burketon Ontario is our Smokehouse restaurant – nicknamed “Strack’s Shack” by friends and locals. Here we keep the smokers stoked with Applewood to serve up racks of ribs, wings, chicken, smoked beef and pulled pork. Steve’s passion for anything Cajun and Creole has also been added to the menu. Burketon is located just north of Bowmanville and south of Port Perry – stop in for a bite!

Steve Strack has been cooking up cajun style and BBQ goodness for over 30 years. Located out of Burketon, Ontario – servicing the areas of Scugog, Kawartha, and Durham region. Our portable smoker and grills allow us to come to you!
We are available to cater any type of party – weddings, private parties, banquets, and corporate events. We can easily accommodate functions from 25 to 500 people.
We are able to work with any budget, and also offer a Do-It-Yourself option where we deliver the food, and you serve it – and sit back and enjoy the compliments!
