Renewed my daughter’s health card around noon last week. Surprisingly there was no line up, from got in till we left only 10 mins. Excellent customer service. The young lady who served us on the very first counter by the window was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended to this location to do your services here.
Be ware of this location with incredibly rude staff, namely a man named Steven, who has no business working with people.
I had an extremely frustrating and unpleasant experience at this location. In my opinion, the staff displayed a consistent lack of professionalism, with impatient, dismissive, and at times hostile behavior. Basic questions were met with repeated responses instead of clarification, and communication difficulties were often blamed on language barriers rather than being addressed respectfully.
As someone with a valid work permit, I felt unwelcome and unsupported—something I believe no newcomer should experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others—especially immigrants or temporary workers—to consider alternative Ontario service centers. In my view, the atmosphere here reflects a troubling lack of empathy and respect for the public.
