About Playtoria Playtoria is an inclusive family resource, sensory, and play centre located in Courtice, Ontario. Created to provide a welcoming space where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can play, connect, and belong, our environment is thoughtfully designed to support nervous system regulation and overall well-being.
Our Mission Our mission is to deliver inclusivity, awareness, family support, and safe fun to neurodiverse families, caregivers, and support people in the Durham region. By managing a neurodivergent-informed play space and building strong relationships with our clients, we help our community have fun and unwind while feeling safe, supported, and understood.
From open play and dedicated sensory areas to respite support, private rentals, birthday celebrations, and community events, Playtoria is more than a place to play, t’s a place to connect, celebrate, and be yourself.
A genuinely wonderful, safe and inclusive place to play for neurodivergent kids. Coming here is always the highlight of our week. It's clean and well maintained. And the staff are incredibly kind and wonderful people. Shoutout to Kris who has such a kind and warm energy. Awesome place!
I took my 5yr old and my almost 2yr old and they both loved it so much my 5yr old keeps bugging me to go back. He told me he wants to have his next birthday party there. The steep slide and ball pit were a big hit with my boys. And the quite room is a wonderful touch to a busy area. Also having the hammock swing is very calming and who doesn't love a lil rock climbing wall. We will be visiting this place often. If I could give it more stars I would.

The Playtoria is a family friendly place to bring your children for open play or for Respite. My grandson loves playing here. I love expressing my inner child playing with him. The team here is amazing. Come check them out.
Literally one of the best play spots because adults are encouraged to participate. Every time I come in it feels safe. I don't have to mask and neither do my kids. If you're on the fence just go in you won't regret it.
Amazing time here, My son had a blast and the staff was wonderful!!
