Price is absolutely incredible for 4 halibut and chips which feeds the whole family. Big pieces and tastes great. Note that they take cash only. The store itself needs a major facelift but who cares if the food is good, clean environment and we're eating it at home anyway. I love supporting family run businesses who truly have tasty food and prices.
I have been eating here for years, I have done both dine and take out. The food is great, you get good portions and the service is amazing. They are so genuinely friendly. Highly recommend this place, they have the best halibut fish in Durham.
Best Fish and Chips hands down everytime!! The customer service is also top shelf!! Prices are also very good and the quality is un-matchable. Definitely recommend!! You will not be disappointed!!
We visited Churchills again and I have to say the service was excellent as usual. We didn't have to wait long at all for the food and the servings were much more than we expected. We will definitely come back again. The restaurant was very clean and the ataff were so warm and welcoming. Honestly. I love fish and chips and so if you do too I highly recommend this place. You can see in my photo that the portions are AMAZING. Thank you!!!!
We both had two pieces of fish and a truck load of fries. You'll be full when you leave and I'm a big guy.
Wow!! By far the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!! I also got the honey garlic wings with chips and veg sooo good. Highly recommend trying this place. Btw it is cash only so just keep that in mind but regardless so worth it!
Absolutely the best Fish & Chips place in Durham! Best one I've ever had. My husband and I have been here many times now and it gets better every order!. We literally just had them again today!

OMG... we ordered fish and chips for takeout tonight from here and I am INCREDIBLY happy with our order. Not only was the staff so friendly but everything was amazing. From the fish, the chips and even the gravy. Usually we aren't very satisfied with how greasy the fish is, how bad the fries are or how salty the gravy is but at this place... THEY HAVE IT ALL!! I would highly recommend this place for your fish and chip cravings. And don't forget the gravy. Wow!
