About Royal Canadian Legion Branch 614 (Scarborough)The Royal Canadian Legion Scarborough Centennial Branch No. 614 is a landmark community organization and social club located in Scarborough, Ontario. Established during Canada’s landmark 1967 Centennial year, the branch was officially granted its charter on April 28, 1967, at a ceremony attended by historic local figures, including the former Mayors of Scarborough and East York (Abe Campbell and True Davidson). Founded by 69 original charter members led by its first President, Herb Baker, Branch 614 has proudly served local veterans, their families, and the broader East Toronto community for decades. Today, the facility operates as a welcoming space completely open to the general public for sports, live entertainment, and neighborhood gatherings.
