I love me a good Banh Mi and have been spoiled having lived in Toronto. Out here in Durham there are some Pho places and diners that try to make a Banh Mi but it just doesn’t taste right. This place does a great job executing the Banh Mi.
Slightly picked carrots and radish are spot on with cilantro and mayo. I like the pate but it somehow flows through the bread while you eat it. The assorted deli meats taste authentic and they pile on the slices. The bread is okay but I would have liked a bit crispier outside. It’s a larger sandwich than what you get in the GTA so the increased price point of fair. I prefer sliced thai chillies in my Banh Mi instead of the chilli sauce they give you. It’s a great option and hopefully they can gain a foothold in Whitby. We will be back for sure.
Delicious!! We ordered the Lemongrass BBQ Beef Banh Mi sandwich, Five Spice Pork Vermicelli and extra Springrolls. I'm not sure which one I liked the most, they were all great! Amazing flavours with everything and somehow still feels light and fresh. I'll definitely be back! Sooner than later.
Man, this is more upscale, and so delish from the fresh baguette, the extra sauce that gives the sandwich that Umami flavour. We had the Assorted and the BBQ 5 Spice pork, it was an absolute perfection. Although, if you are taking home, the creamy mayo may makes the bread soggy, that’s just something to watch out for. Love the coffees as well.
We are from Bowmanville and use to travel all the way to spadina for a good banh mi. Now we got "Banh Mi World" in whitby. Tried this place twice now and it's just getting better everytime.
The coffee's are to die for.
