YOGAthletix was founded on the belief that practicing yoga and fitness concurrently is the best way to achieve a happy and healthy life. We offer active and restorative styles of yoga, high energy fitness programs and therapeutic workshops.

YOGAthletix classes are designed to offer a balanced fitness regime, an engaging and challenging workout and to be accessible to every body. We also offer a free seasonal running club, monthly safety and wellness workshops and are constantly adding fun pop-up classes led by guest instructors to our schedule.

The backbone of YOGAthletix is of community and we work diligently to ensure every class, and instructor helps to foster a positive, encouraging and fun atmosphere. Our mission is to provide a space where you can grow and be challenged without feeling intimidated. We want to help you live your dream. So come as you are. This vinyasa flow style practice will introduce you to new poses, improve well practiced positions, apply breath and mediation to your postures and safely push your limits. Yoga 101

In this hatha style yoga practice, we hold poses for several breaths to give you time to understand the posture anatomically and energetically. You will deepen body awareness, stretch and strengthen muscles, and build a breath practice to deepen your yoga experience. This is wonderful practice for both new and seasoned yogis alike. All levels of skill are welcome.

Yogasana

In this slow flow style yoga practice poses and transitions are practiced at a relaxed pace to enhance the mind-body connection while maintaining a meditative rhythm. This class has an emphasis on stretching to improve flexibility and is the perfect companion to balance more active workouts. You will leave feeling relaxed, spacious and stress free. Treat yourself to some much needed "me time" and come to your mat for rejuvenation. All levels of skill are welcome.

GETnZEN

This yin inspired yoga class focuses on deep stretching; poses are practiced sitting, kneeling or laying down and are held for longer periods of time. Healthy stress is placed on the connective tissue at the joints, resulting in more muscle length and improved flexibility. Meditation is also practiced to develop the ability to focus and clear unnecessary or distracting thoughts. This relaxing and restorative class can be both physically and spiritually cleansing and will allow you to leave tension and stress behind. All levels of skill are welcome.

BarreFit

This lower body focused fitness class is inspired by ballet barre technique. It will improve your poster, tone your muscles, strengthen your core, increase your flexibility and stamina, all while learning ballet terminology. You will leave feeling longer, stronger, taller and more graceful! All levels of skill are welcome (no prior dance training required).

GETnFIT

This high energy, full body, interval style fitness class is suitable for all levels. Each exercise is performed on your mat for one minute, using a 6lb to 12lb UGI ball. Don’t let the playful toy-like UGI balls fool you, your whole body will get a killer workout. Get your sweat on and your body will thank you for this dynamic, lively, super fun workout. Restorative Yoga Training

Restorative yoga invites us to rejuvenate our bodies and minds by finding a deep state of relaxation. As tension melts out of the body, energy is directed into repairing. Meanwhile, the mind has an opportunity to integrate experiences within deep rest while maintaining full awareness. Restorative yoga is a uniquely constructive style of rest that often leaves practitioners feeling energized, refreshed, and rejuvenated.

In this 55 hour training students will understand how the nervous system works and the relationship between stress and our health. With this understanding, we will examine how restorative yoga can benefit everyone’s health and wellbeing. A considerable amount of time will be spent learning the shapes and practicing teaching. By the end of the course, each student will be equipped with the knowledge and techniques needed to teach a restorative practice safely and confidently or to guide themselves through a practice.
