Welcome to Chickadee Kids Company, a family-owned toy and bookstore for kids ages 0-6. We specialize in toys with a purpose. We love finding unique products, ones you won’t find in a big box toy store. Our focus is on quality toys that will last your family for many years to come.
All of our toys and books are selected by us – real parents who want quality toys that are not only fun to play with, but educational and ones that support our childrens’ development. We don't place anything on our shelves that we wouldn't want our own children to play with.
Our store is conveniently located in the Headon Forest neighbourhood in central Burlington (Upper Middle & Guelph Line). We have lots of parking available right outside our front doors.
Being a small, family-owned toy store our goal is to make your shopping experience easy and comfortable. Our staff are knowledgeable about all the toys, books and games we have in store. Katie Wilkens (Ernie’s daughter-in-law and Jake's wife) consults on our marketing. By keeping it in the family and maintaining the philosophy on which the company was built, Wilkens will be around for at least another 50 years.
