Welcome to Chickadee Kids Company, a family-owned toy and bookstore for kids ages 0-6. We specialize in toys with a purpose. We love finding unique products, ones you won’t find in a big box toy store. Our focus is on quality toys that will last your family for many years to come.
All of our toys and books are selected by us – real parents who want quality toys that are not only fun to play with, but educational and ones that support our childrens’ development. We don't place anything on our shelves that we wouldn't want our own children to play with.
Our store is conveniently located in the Headon Forest neighbourhood in central Burlington (Upper Middle & Guelph Line). We have lots of parking available right outside our front doors.
Being a small, family-owned toy store our goal is to make your shopping experience easy and comfortable. Our staff are knowledgeable about all the toys, books and games we have in store. The Great Canadian Meat Company was founded back in 1992 in Whitby, Ontario, Canada as a two-man operation with one product: our Authentic Dry Pepperoni. We believe that high quality ingredients, generous portions, and good ol’ hospitality are key to a perfect casual joint. This isn’t a carbon copy of another fried chicken restaurant in Nashville. We do our own thing, our own way, with a lot of heart. All of our spice blends are made in-house; even our Carolina Reapers and Ghost Peppers are blended by hand to ensure we are using the purest and hottest peppers possible!
